All Welcome
A foxtrotting specter searched for victory at the crest of a crippled plateau, only to find it impoverished of anything except more snow and a view of the wild, moody ocean that was by far the liveliest thing this place had to offer. Both utterly useless to Deviljho, and the exertion spent on the journey up here had left her feeling almost dizzy from hunger. She swallowed the lump in her throat and felt it settle like a rock in her gut, as she looked around the barren, beachside mesa and came to the single, sad conclusion:

There was no food here either.

She bitterly turned her nose up into the icy brine air, as if to howl, but then seemed to think better of a lament; lowering her muzzle in troubled contemplation. It seemed she'd need to venture closer to the sea if she wanted a decent bite. Though she wasn't a wolf of the water by any means, the survivalist in her would decidedly adapt. This in mind, she began a steady march down towards the still-distant tide.

Wandering upon the coast and here she finds a silvery speck just further down the beach. Huā's eyes focus on the thing, her charcoal paws carry her closer, until it becomes a wolf, and then a female wolf, and then one of similar age. The girl approached the water steadily.

Had she found someone who adored the sea with the same passion as herself? Huā crept closer, though kept a little distance between them. Finally, speaking up in that accented common tongue: You. Are you hunter? Or perhaps daughter of ocean? She chirps curiously. Typically she would not approach strangers- but she was a girl who was close to the sea, and that was enough for Huā to take interest.
