Current dated (prior meeting Cupid), stuff re: Ceilidh discussed OOCly!  All tags can be for reference.

It had been an active morning around Neverwinter.  It had started with a howl for @Ceilidh from a voice none of them save her recognized.  A while later, she called for Mal.  The howl was a strange one, he could tell.  It couldn't bring good news.

Now?  He'd stumbled back from the border once he was on his own again, out of sight of strangers, and after fumbling a few more steps he unceremoniously flopped down on his stomach, eyes barely to his paws.  Physically he was fine, but he'd taken a fair mental hit.  It had broken his cool guy facade for now and he felt like the abandoned child of yesteryear.  Ceilidh had left.  He couldn't blame her in this case, but that didn't mean he was happy about it.  Not at all.

He just lay there in the snow, unfocused and feeling empty.  He'd appreciated her hope, her positivity and at least right now he wondered how he was supposed to find that on his own.  Hell, she'd even made @Markus smile.  She'd helped @Cam.  But she could go back to her family and help them -- Mal couldn't do that, neither could Cam.  Just right now it felt bad and Mal wasn't any good at emotional stuff, he was kind of hoping it would just melt out of him into the snow.
