All Welcome
December 11th

A heavy fog rolled in from the sea at dawn, obscuring everything that wasn't directly in front of Sobo's nose. He yawned loudly, staggering once in his steady tread. He ought to have gone to sleep last night, but his feet yearned to continue roaming. Now he wound along the shore with his eyelids drooping and his mind nearly as foggy as the beach itself.

Which explain how he came face-to-face with a quartet of sea lions huddled together for warmth. He was only a foot and a half from them when they materialized out of the fog, looking as startled as he was. They recovered faster, however, and one rose up on its front flippers and bellowed in his face. Sobo stumbled back, flattening his ears and crying I be so sorry! for anyone in the vicinity to hear.

Fortunately for Sobo, no one was there to bear witness. The boy skittered further from the sea lions and continued only a short way down the shoreline before deciding he ought to have a nap after all.
