All Welcome
She gave herself a disproving click of her tongue—Tamar’s absence struck her harder than any other in her life. She had wallowed—only truly entertaining her children, and when Reyson made the decision to scout ahead for a home for them all—a fresh start, she found she did not have the energy to argue against him they should be with him.

Time did not heal all wounds, and Tamar was greatly missed—but she grew anxious as each day passed.

Soon, she knew, if Reyson did not return soon, she would round up the remaining of their children and begin her search for him… Reuniting their family, once more…

… and if she was correct, with the onset of a headache and nervous energy, she could feel the beginning of her heat pressing to her.

They might have a chance to continue to grow their family, if he returned to them swiftly enough.

Quote:Do you mind if I join you? Greyfalcon hasn’t much going on right now…. Self note: This would take place after a couple previous threads.

After her border patrols and recent meetings with the other younger pack mates, she found her way to the center of camp. She had smelled another wolf nearby, she decided to check out who it was and saw that it was Meadow. Now she didn’t know Meadow that well, but she knew Tamar.

The woman seemed distressed, deep in thought. “Hello, is everything alright Meadow?” She asked, kindly. “May you seek a listening ear?” Upon closer inspection of her face while maintaining a respectful distance, she did notice more confused looks in her face. Whether or not the woman seeked solace in a fellow she wolf, she would offer it.

She stared absentminded—that was, until the gentle calling of her name drew her gaze upward, brows furrowed in quiet consideration. The gentle form of Greyfalcon was given a surprised glance—the woman trimmed in fine silver with soft eyes.

She hadn’t spoken much to her prior—hadn’t truly connected with any of the Raventhorpe wolves, if she were honest, and it wasn’t their fault. She had secluded herself—her heart ached for the vale, and once more for a past lost. A family broken.

“No, I’m fine,” she murmured, ears splaying back against her copper crown. She didn’t wish to divulge her thoughts or feelings, particularly to one she didn’t know—and instead, she tried to cover this with a wane smile. “How are you, these days?”

The woman was still quiet, clearly contemplating…. She disclosed the question, she would not answer. ‘I’m fine” were her words, she nodded. Pressing further was not something she would do, and understood that.
Though the woman seemed to ache for something….

She smiled small, then asked how she had been. Greyfalcon hadn’t been asked how she was in a while. She had been focusing so much on her pack mates and slightly dwelling on a past relation, a friend that she hadn’t seen in years, and years.

“I am, okay. Thank you Meadow. I am still breathing and living with the pack. Enjoying time with my adoptive nice and nephew.” By adopted she always referred to Solveig’s kid’s due to their close connection. She herself, wasn’t sure if she would, or even cold have any.

Greyfalcon—she was a kind woman, but Meadow was uncertain how to take her words. Still living and breathing with the pack seemed to hold a certain ominous tone—though the healer doubted she meant it as such.

What she did gather, though, was that the she-wolf was not a mother—and Meadow was not going to pry into such, but wondered if she had wanted any herself.

“Well, maybe you can give me some ideas of where to take the kids on a little adventure?” Perhaps, the plateau wolf could give her some inspiration, given she had lived here longer.

Her words had been ominous, had Meadow noticed that? Perhaps. She didn’t quite know what to think of her own words either, if she was being honest with her herself, she has been going through a couple things in her own mind.

She wouldn’t show these. It was more important than pack balance was maintained, and that she continued her duties to be there for them.

She had indeed wondered about children, it was one of those late at night thoughts that would come to her. Meadow asked about areas for the children, she knew of some wonderful nearby places.

“I do know of such places, southwest of the plateau and across the river is the Hot Springs. They are wonderful to relax in.” She continued, “there are also wide fields for running, a great opportunity to chase or play tag.”

“Of course I would be more than willing to show you the way if need be.”

Her tongue pressed to the roof of her mouth as she regarded the other quietly—idly wondering about the well-being of the woman before her. Perhaps an olive branch extended—Greyfalcon might have recognized her own withering mental health?

“Maybe we can take the kids to one of those places sometime,” she noted, her tone neutral. Rhonen and Lotus were joined at the hip often—but did they try to meet the others around their age within the pack?

Only then did the healer consider she hadn’t set the best example to her children, given she herself had kept widely to herself since before Tamar had left.
