She would need more room than what she had for herself in the basin, though she was not sure just how much; they would be small for a while, but puppies grew quickly. in terms of shape dynamics, leto resembling a buffalo was not so far off: soto studies her rounded backside, the gravid sway of her belly as she heaves and growls.

Intentions good or not if Soto was not well, Soto, he would have earned a swift nip for even daring to approach her. It was not a common occurence for Leto to be nasty with anyone, but a small pack of children kicking you from the inside does something to a girl.
Whether she felt too proud to want his assistance or not, it felt good to (very slowly) sit down.
She knew all too well that when the children came she would not want to let anyone touch them for the first little while, and if a wandering stranger were to come by it would not be Leto ripping their pelt off if she could help it.

i let this get horribly outdated.
it's almost time, leto explains as she gently -- and slowly -- guides herself downwards. it's as if watching a gracile boulder; soto marvels at the body's ability to expand with the components within.
this den would be makeshift - temporary - and verapaz's next generation reared in the comforting embrace of the shale.
