Gunnar had found a spot to lay as far away from everyone as possible. His mind racing with the fevered thoughts that had danced around his head. He no longer knew what was real and what was fake. Certainly he knew what had caused his injuries, that much to his chagrin were still painful. He blamed his age.

But after it, those thoughts were strange ones, and he couldn't put the story together. He frowned and lay his downy head upon the dirt. His pained leg stretched out. He licked where his tooth had been and he sighed.
