All Welcome
this may end up a read only due to timing etc!

Maia had been invited to the hunt but instead had seen @Chickadee and the others off, choosing instead to stay home and look after things there. Eljay was traveling, and while her heart had gone with him, she knew it was best that she had remained. They were a small family and the children were growing quickly. She hoped that the hunt was successful, but would do what she could here too.

She hadn’t wanted to leave the territory entirely vacant, but she also had been feeling somewhat under the weather of late. It was not something she mentioned, but with the hunt leaving an anxious note on her thoughts, she had not felt up to the excitement. Now, in the quiet of her own thoughts, she wished more than ever she could have accompanied her husband. The caldera felt so quiet.

She would feel better when everyone was back home and safe. Until then she would keep the quiet company of the trees and keep an eye on the caldera’s edge. They weren’t likely to have company with everyone occupied by the hunt, but better to be prepared just in case.
