Keeping some things vague

She headed west after leaving Drageda, slowing as she began to notice the familiar signs of a pack nearby. She scented the borders long before she reached them, but remained cautious as she drew near. The last time she had been on the coast, this pack was not here, so she was surprised to stumble upon it now. Her surprise was only brief, though--soon replaced with her normal stony expression, eager to find out if the pack knew anything about her missing family and then move on. She had more coast to travel and then an even longer journey home, but mostly she wanted to find even the smallest hint that any of her kin had survived the storm. Taki tried to remain hopeful that she would find the information she so desperately sought, but her more pragmatic side kept intruding on her thoughts and reminding her to be realistic about the fact that she may not find out anything at all. 

Pushing aside her conflicting ruminations, the northerner stopped just outside the borders, snowy paws stark against the dull stone of the cliffs. Not wanting waste any time, she lifted her muzzle and howled for the leaders.
