Her time in the plains seemed to drag on, and with it the looming boredom that accompanied her bed rest. Despite her paws itching for action, Ira would listen to Speedy, resting her leg aside from when her thirst needed to be quenched. As Speedy said, her recovery was slow, but at least now the pain was minimal. Sometimes she tested her luck, taking small walks to stretch her sore and sleeping limbs.
