It was not every day that an owl flew to a branch above Raleska; she lifted her muzzle from the stream, water dribbling down her cheeks as she studied the creature. Had she not been wounded, and had it not had wings, she might have considered it a source of food. As it was, her movements were limited and she was forced to simply eye it hungrily from a distance.
Surprisingly, this bird spoke: Raleska's ears flipped and she looked for Stryx or Sugar in surprise. Had there been some sort of hallucinogen in what the medics had fed her? She ignored the owl, moving stiffly back to camp with her back hunched.
And yet, the owl flew after her. Raleska halted disbelievingly as it spoke of @Anigan and of finding him again. She was incredulous, but humored the bird of prey and gave it directions back to Rusalka, informing the creature that she and her band were on their way there themselves. Once their meeting had ended, Raleska said nothing of what had transpired to either wolves in her party: she was still convinced she was high as fuck or simply crazy, and slept fitfully that night.

all of which makes me anxious,
at times unbearably so.
at times unbearably so.
