Once again, he’s not surprised by her answer though she seems uncaring, until she’s not. It’s obvious something about it bothers her. Either she’s jealous or actually doesn’t want to hear about his sexual escapades. At her harsh words and then the painfully serious snarl that has her lip curling up and baring perfect, white teeth, he’s having a few second thought of saying it. 

Heeding her warning, he back away upon her wordless request. His ears flick back momentarily and he softly nods his head in her direction. “You did say that.” He hums casually, sifting though the water, looking for the scaly animals to swim by. “But that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun as well.” He doesn’t say it with a teasing undertone, he just says it. Normally. Which is something he can’t make himself do for some reason.
