Chimera Fields Do we both confide?

The familiarity of the field was a comfort after her day of traveling. Her shoulder felt a little better directly after her soak, but after scaling back up the side of the quarry and beginning to make her way home, it was as sore as it had been before and seeping the watery fluid again. As she had been all day, she ignored it, especially knowing she would be home soon and could soak again and find a spot to rest for a while.

She walked at a slower pace, unable to keep from limping just a little. She took the time to scan the grassland around her, though, wishing the sky was more clear so that she could see the stars. She caught glimpses of them as she moved, but mostly it was just the grey mist of the clouds. The air had grown colder as the sun set, but she never minded the chill. If she had felt better, it would make her frisky, but she was content to make her way slowly back home.
