Firestone Hot Springs too hot to handle

A door that needed opening? What on earth did he mean by that? How would you go about opening a door? Why would one be closed? How would it be closed? And what did that have to do with gentlemanly behavior? Lane opened her mouth to ask.

Her eyes widened, seeing the man barrel towards her. She ducked beneath the surface of the water. She felt his paws mash into the flesh along her spine, but it was painless as the water displaced most of his weight. Lane pressed her own paws against the floor of the pool and pushed herself upwards, hoping to topple the man sideways into the water.
