And if they spoke to her, was she not meant to hear them?

I could ask the bones, she offered, unsure if anaa would like that or not. She seemed, in some small way, fearful of what they could say. Sialuk had not yet asked a question for her mother, primarily because the opportunity had not presented itself. This, however, seemed like the right time.
