Kyn is well distracted, just as she plans. When she’s nuzzling his jaw and rubbing herself against him, his small brain doesn’t even realize that she’s doing it on purpose — for her own benefit. It seems he’s let himself get complacent with her. He realizes his mistake when she’s lunging at him and biting at his muscled leg. Moving her body to bump his chest, he reels back as much as he’s able to with his leg in her mouth. 

He chuckles loudly at her cunning distraction. He truly should’ve seen it coming but his love for her clouds his judgement it seems. So he takes on a more defensive strategy. Squaring his shoulders, he crouches down and bumps his chest against her side. It should at least knock her off balance a tad, if not he’d regroup and carry on with a different plan to dislodge her.
