Tierra hadn't actually seen much of their mom these days. Not because she was avoiding her or anything, she was just so busy with the new setting and new faces, the more familiar things had fallen to the background.

He can try. He's probably too old to bend that much. She laughed at her own rude joke, then waved a paw. C'mon. She's probably hanging out with Maxim. I dunno if she's, like, hanging out with him. But he is super cute, so I wouldn't blame her. Tierra chatted easily as they walked, drawing out her descriptors of Maxim appreciatively as she remembered the few times she'd seen him. Her mom would have to be crazy not to try and get ahold of that, right?

Probably should have been weird, but for Tierra, things like that never were. As much as she loved both of her parents, she had gotten past the point where she ever considered a world where they were together. Instead she was now fully in the stage of congratulating them on their conquests (and eagerly looking forward to a few of her own).
