the sun was warm upon her back and shikoba would come to enjoy the feeling of the sand beneath her once more. it did not burn as the desert did, though shikoba sometimes thinks she has lost feeling in her pads years ago from being burned by the scorching heat of the desert. for now, she breathes in the breeze and looks towards the others with curiosity.
