Sialuk returned from Moontide feeling her grief slip away from her. She was glad to be home, and Elentari's scent was fresh, bringing her more comfort. Tullik had vanished one night while they were in Moontide. Why this was, she could not say. Perhaps being a father was not meant for him, or perhaps he simply wandered away as so many often did. Sialuk did not take it personally, though she hoped he did well wherever he ended up.

Her sister's journey to the dancing lights was finally complete, and Sialuk felt peace upon the plateau as she had departed. Now, back home in the comfort of her own surroundings, she led the others who had come back with her to the borders, letting the younger ones go free when they were within sight of things familiar to them.
