Mountain Boulder receives him, and he arrives in time to watch the man spew out his stomach contents for the hungry mouths that pestered him. The boy drops the fish he's been holding and nudges it toward the huntlead; something to refill his stomach with in the meantime.

Now, he can really see them.

There were three small forms, still so delicately tiny the Berserkr could only marvel at the sight. Had he really been that small at one time? It was hard to fathom.

And then, the man formally presents the trio to him—gathering and rolling them over. A thin smile warms his lips at the gesture, and soon the display descends into disorder as the pups trample and mouth at one another.

He feels a sense of pride at their incoherent rebellion; even in this stage he sensed they were strong and spirited.

Tail wagging gently, the boy gingerly sniffs at the rambunctious one as he wiggles by, then moves to examine the other two similarly.
