soto knows arslan to be industrious, but as the days blend together and spring revolves into an early summer, he does not see the halcyon again.

his ears perk to hear the lion's howl at their borders. arriving to meet him at an efficient trot, soto apprises his condition. he looks lean from travel, but not bedraggled. still the charismatic lion he knows. 

como te fue, arslan?
