Evergreen was quick to assure her the smelly creature usually tasted better than it appeared. While his words did not exactly put her disgust at ease, she was not one to let food go to waste. Sure enough, the texture alone was different from the meals she was used to, but the flavor was actually not too bad. It was still a bit too strong in some flavor she couldn't put a name on for her tastes, but she could stomach it. If she was ever starving Ira would be sure to keep the slimy creatures in mind if there were no other options around.
