He steps forward, uncertain if approaching him is a bad idea. Yet there is the possibility of it anchoring him back, or finding out what ails him.

“Uh, it’s… Evergreen, we met in the caverns in the, uh, mountains a while ago.” He can’t fault him if he does not remember. It’s more important that he… figures out what’s wrong. Winterbourne’s quickened breaths make resistance difficult, and the bear strides forward. Hesitantly, he presses his large nose gently to the silver boy’s shoulder.
