Eljay cast his gaze down as she pleaded him to be allowed to leave. Okay, he murmured, feeling as if he was some evil person who was keeping her here against her will as she pleaded with him. I'll see you later. Eljay's voice betrayed how sad he was. It quivered as the words came out and he stood there and looked up at her. He was silent now as he looked at her, all but verbally begging her to stay -- or at least not to go. His eyes glistened with sadness while he waited for the inevitable, because it was clear that she had had enough of him right now.
