Back to the routine.
Early mornings... long patrols. Sometimes it became tiring — but hey, it's what he signed up for.
On occasion, Khaba would drop by to check in on the prince. But now that they were back in the eyes of the pharaoh, the two needn't be so close. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy her company, but he had no desire for Makono to be scolded by Ramesses if he discovered their often, solo visitations.
So instead, to busy his mind, he would busy his feet. Patrolling was just the way to do that.
