Fatigue had taken her the night before. After wandering far the day before - she had found a small makeshift den under the roots of a tree, possibly done by a wild boar or badger previously, with no sign of it continuously being inhabited by its previous owners. It was only after she awoke did Reiko realize that she was a little too close to a pack's borders. What was not noticed last night was plain as the daylight that shone brightly in her face this morning - not quite trespassing yet, but close enough. Far too close for her comfort.

After a quick stretch to get the blood flowing in her legs again, the young damsel caped in a snow white dress took a quick look around, trying to decide which way was the best to make her way out of a possible sticky situation. If she was quick enough, she could leave before being noticed... unfortunately, that was a thought that had come and gone. She was noticed.

thanks so much for starting! because this is in pack territory i don't technically think it can be private, so if someone else hops in that's why. (:

after the few fox and coyote incidents that they'd had, terance made sure to check all of the abandoned dens to make sure none had replaced their fallen comrades. if so, terance would most certainly make sure that they faced a similar fate, but so far all had been clear. that was, of course, true until he spotted the white wolf, sticking out like a sore thumb against the dark, rocky terrain. for a heartbeat, he debated if it was olive, then decided that this wolf smelled nothing like anyone from moonspear.

with a loud snarl, terance bounded forward, making himself abundantly known. he said nothing, but his demeanor clearly said 'get lost! you're too close to the borders!' he stopped just before her, she did not make a nuisance of herself like that weird, dark wolf had. he would not harm her, not yet, but he wanted her gone.

sorry for the wait! i didn't know how to make her not run so we can do the spar, but nothing came to mind, maybe you can have better luck xD

Already on her way to make as much distance from this place as possible before she was found out, so as the male came out with his intentions clear - it only pushed her into a run, rather than a quick trot. Just the sight of him alone had been enough to get her running, the snarl was simply the cherry on top of it all.

She had to pay better attention to borders, she was starting to run too close into them lately and this kind of scenario was happening too often, at least, for her taste. Perhaps she should just find a place that was unclaimed and stay there, as opposed to wandering around and familiarizing herself.

she began to run, which was a warning sign for terance. to him, submission would've been a likely sign that she was merely in the wrong place at the wrong time, lost and maybe stupid. but running, to terance, signaled she was doing something wrong. she took off, and after her terance chased. he had no reason to attack, but he wanted her far from the territory-- they had no need for sulking around the borders. another growl echoed from his throat as he ran, feet pounding against the path.
