All Welcome
The Governor had withdrawn into himself, but he knew now he could no longer hide his physical presence; Bracken Sanctuary needed more than a shell of a leader. Delight seemed less present than he was— he had not seen his friend since their arrival. So, figuring he wouldn't get the help he needed there, Alarian resolved to continue on as if he was the sole leader. Delight could just sit and look pretty. It was admittedly a little disappointing, though; he had half-expected the other leader would walk in, tell him everything he was doing wrong, and he'd fix it. And they'd be a proper pack. Or something.
In the absence of any real direction, Alarian sought another of his packmates. He hadn't spoken directly to @Horosk, or even laid eyes on the male yet— which probably wasn't great, given he was supposed to be the leader. The boy trailed his scent slowly, a little reluctant to go through the whole first introduction thing but unwilling to admit it to himself. He would just suck it up and say hi and hopefully drop dead on the spot.

The world had felt much smaller over the last few days.

Liri. She was here now. Horosk hadn't imagined they'd ever cross paths again, and his mind had been focused faithfully upon his love, Mira. However... the ghost... things felt odd. He could not quite describe how it felt to see a shard of his memory reappear into the present, stood before him with pain in her eyes as she stared in his direction. It was an image that had replayed itself in his head various times since their recent encounter.

Even with these thoughts, he'd been doing his best to put them at the back of his mind when he could and focus on keeping caches filled and such. For now, he was idly wandering, violet gaze scanning the horizon while quietly humming to himself. He'd realised that he hadn't met many wolves within Bracken Sanctuary, only really knowing a certain few. Perhaps he should work on making friendships with the others, maybe it could aid in distracting him. Besides, it never hurt to have a buddy or two to rely on.

Speaking of which, not too far in the distance a figure came into view. He wasn't sure exactly who it was, but he had a few guesses, at least. "Hello!" He called, a slight curve of his lips and nod of his head serving as his greeting.

It was easy enough to find the male. Alarian offered a smile as he approached, tail swishing as the other called out his greeting. Hey, He responded easily, stopping when there were only a few feet between them. Horosk, right? I'm Alarian; Lanawyn told me a bit about you and Semira. Figured it was time to see how you're settling in.
He settled back on his haunches, allowing himself a brief glance over the other. Friendly guy so far— cute, too, but he had brought a girl with him. So that had to mean taken, probably; Alarian wouldn't shed any tears over it, but ugh, when would a single guy come around? A single, not-straight guy, damnit.

Horosk felt a small rush of relief when the other male returned the smile, easing whatever nerves had been tempted to settle in the Storyteller's stomach. Although he was usually comfortable around wolves, he still got a little nervous from time to time. "Ah," It was Alarian. He'd wanted to meet the Govenor sooner, but he was glad at least that they could introduce themselves to eachother now. "Yes, I'm Horosk. It's good to finally meet you."

At the mention of Semira, he felt a little pang of guilt. He hadn't seen her for a little while now, and he was beginning to grow concerned, especially after the encounter with Liri - where was she? Was she okay? She'd seemed a little out of it the moment they arrived at Bracken Sanctuary, but he'd figured it was simply the idea of a new home with strangers that had unsettled her. "We're... we're doing well. It's lovely here, I have to say." That much was true, but Horosk almost felt bad for speaking on Mira's behalf when he wasn't even sure where she was. Probably just exploring, or maybe hunting, right? He'd go look for her later.
