All Welcome
#3: Your toon is/has been abducted by aliens
It is an alternative universe, remember. This does not actually affect your timeline or character in any way.
He was minding his own damn business for once. Then this happens to him. Got damn.
He was happily munching on everything, inhaling food like Kirby. Then, for whatever reason, this thing that smelt like something dead was dragged up from the bottom of the ocean and left festering in a warm room for three weeks. Disgusting.
It was scaly and slippery, like a snake perhaps except it was huge and had many of the snake things protruding from its bulbous face. Kovertol looked at thinking, "This is gonna be fucking amazing"
It wasn't.

He tingled and the air fuzzed. He just kinda stood there dumbfounded by this thing that was pointing a shiny thing at him, I know right, Kovertol is descriptive. From an observer, it would look like a bubble gun was being pointed at him by this tentacle-ass lightbulb (for that is the shape of the epicenter of these tentacles) and Kovertol, bless him, was turning into vibrant particles that glowed and he was shooting off into the sky.
Now, because this alien thing was pretty smart he had a system that made particularised-Kovertol reform on a different planet. Not a spaceship, no. Who needs a spaceship when you can just ship it home.
Well, this would be fun. For him or them, who knows?

Challenge: 1. Something happens and your character gains a superpower - Elfie can become a combustible supernova.

Elfie had had great fun with his new friends on the secret moon (Smoon). He had also met the Master Wizard of the place, who had liked the little boy so much that he granted him a little bit of cosmic power. Not only his speed was greatly increased, but, if he focused enough he could become a glowing ball of energy and explode, and then reassemble himself again. The focusing part, however, was tricky, because, if he did it the wrong way, series of strained toots happened from his other end.

And he would have stayed longer, were it not for a chance encounter with an octopus-like tentacled being (that's, what I could gather from Kovertol's experience), who had appeared out of nowhere, interrupted the game of tag he had been playing with resident smoonians and snatched him. Next thing the little boy knew, he was rematerialized in an entirely different place. Right next to a huge, furry beast, who looked just as confused as he was.

But Elfie was not the one, who would stay confused for long. He prodded the big thing with his snout and barked at him, inviting the fellow to introduce himself.

He HHe took in his surroundings. He was in a room decorated with purple. Purple floor, purple walls, purple ceiling. Wait, it was glass? He could soo through the roof of this place. The sky looked funky with clouds still but the sky was brighter. It was probably blue, the purple tint made it hard to recognise the colour properly.
He stepped forward. He felt lighter, like if he could jump (do bears jump? Oh well it's a magic universe) he could float for a while before reaching the ground again.

His brows rose when something prodded him through his fur. He turned, finding a small wolf barking at him.
"What in the-" He could talk the common tongue fluently. Well, that was new.  He looked around again, feeling panic rising within him. What was going to happen now? He swallowed. There was nothing happening now so..."I'm Kovertol." He said, speaking slowly to see if he was thinking about the words coming from him. He plopped himself down, bamboozled.

The beast was HU-U-U-U-GE! Elfie's jaw almost unhinged, while he stared at the biggest creature he had ever encountered (that pesky alien aside), unable to utter a single word. Then the fellow spoke and an expression of intense concentration appeared (and he remembered to shut his mouth at this point). In real life he had not yet mastered the speech, therefore with all of the wonderful possibilities the dream-land offered, he did not know, how to use this tool properly.

BUT - he could still make sounds, right? "Wauauauaua-u, ruff, ruff, rrrr-ruff. -hiccup-," Elfie did not have a chance to finish his important speech, because he began to hiccup. And with every such hiccup a little bit of blazing hot supernova ray was released, shooting straight in the purple glass wall and melting a hole in it.

His concern grew when this pup started barking incoherently. It grew even more when this ray of heat Kovertol could feel from where he was sitting blasted past him. And put a hole in the wall. He stood as quickly as a bear could, backing away from this ball of suped-up danger. He moved towards the hole into the outer world. Perhaps he could make it bigger?

He rose up and came down on the wall like it were artic ice. It cracked a little. He repeated to no real avail. He grunted in dissatisfaction. What now? Either way, it didn't look like they'd go far. They seemed to be in a bigger chamber full of more glass boxes. It was low and wide. He batted at the wall again before letting out an aggravated roar. He was not in the mood for this. Not today aliens, not today.

His furry, beastly buddy went to explore the hole Elfie had melted in the wall, but the puppy was hardly paying any attention to him. His hiccups grew more frequent, by now all four feet left the ground, when yet another came and all of a sudden an ominous whizzing sound happened. It became louder, the air around the little puppy began to vibrate and a KABOOM! happened.

Elfie burst into light, lifted the ground, passed Kovertol by a near margin, hit through the glass wall, leaving a very huge, melting hole in it (big enough for a bear to fit through) and hit the wall opposite to it. A second later the boy had regained his form, was standing firmly on the ground with all four feet and with an excitedly wagging tail was exploring the ground level.

The ursine grunted, wondering what the hell was happening with this crazy light up pup. he darted away as quickly as a bear could dart, trying to avoid this dangerous object that was floating around.
He looked back after realising a hole hadn't been burnt through his head -- which he was rather pleased about -- and looked to where the creature was materialising outside the hole. Well, that wasn't natural.

Even so, he approached the hole, pushing his way out. The room was full of other 'specimens' contained in a similar fashion. Kovertol had just happened to be put with an exploding pup-looking thing. He started to wander around, wondering how the hell he got here and how he could leave. Home. He wanted to go home. He wandered along the walls, looking for something to go through. Something to eat too.

Though Kovertol would not wholly agree, it was his lucky day still. Because Elfie's ground floor inspection brought fruits, when he stopped by a stack of containers. There the most interesting and delicious smells wafted through, most of which the kid did not recognize, but the longer he remained there, the more keen he was to try them out.

Having completely forgotten that he could super-nova through the boxes, the puppy began to paw at the boxed, attempted to chew them (not for long) and when all of this failed, he sat down and started to cry loudly. He wanted to get to the delicious stuff NOW!!!

After such a short time of relative bliss, his wanderings were interrupted by the cries of the pup.
He grunted, ambling over to the source. If this was real and Cry ever found he left a youth to whatever creatures crawled these halls, the dark man wouldn't be happy. At all.

His nose found the scents of fruits. Berries he could identify but the other smells? Too exotic for his knowledge but they smelt sweet. He, too, wanted them. He drew himself up on his hind legs and started to scrape at the boxes, not really caring where the pup was at this stage. He was sure it could take care of itself. The side of a box collapsed, rounded, red and orange fruits tumbled out. He immediately took one in his maw and chewed it, the sweet juice ran down his chin and the soft flesh yielded to his jaws. The ursine finished his short snack, his curiosity spiking. He batted one of the mangos, watching it roll around. He lept on it, diving to catch it in his jaws like a feline before devouring the fruit.

At least something good came out of this.

Size is a relative thing, but, when the big, dark-furred, fluffy buddy of Elfie's came to investigate the boxes, the small puppy remained sitting, watching the animal work with wide-eyes and open mouth, lower jaw almost unhinging. It took no effort at all for the bear to knock one of the boxes, making it split open and several round objects flew out of them.

"YAY!" the kid squealed in excitement, as he rushed after one of the roundish things and pounced at it like a kitten and falling side-ways, when he missed it. He nosed it and sniffed it from all sides, tried to sink his teeth in it, but his mouth was too small and teeth too tiny to do so. He was about to protest again, when all of a sudden a door opened in, what had seemed like a solid wall earlier.

And there in the doorway stood something big, something scary, something like...

You can choose, what kind of alien greeted them.

He watched the pup roll and play with the fruit, thinking of home. Of the pups that would be born there; that'd he'd defend. Would he be allowed to know them? Would he want to see them? His tongue snaked out to lick his jowls of the sticky juice running from his lips.

A hiss. A hole opened up in the wall and another of the tentacled aliens came through, this time a brilliant, hot pink colour with dark black spots over it. Kovertol shifted forwards, moving before the pup. This thing was dangerous -- an instinct told him to protect the young.
A beam shot out from a weapon the creature held and wrapped around the bear, denying him the ability to open his maw or to run away. He was raised off the ground -- clearly with some force on behalf of the alien from the concentration on its face -- and the ursine was carried away through the door.

End here?

Sure - thanks!

If Elfie had thought that he had seen everything in life, then he was proven wrong the instant the alien came through the door. Big, pink, tentacled, otherworldly, crazy even - the boy found it hard to avert his gaze from the guy. Only after it had picked up the bear in the most unusual way and was parading through the door, did the supernova-boy realize that something was off and that you were not supposed to carry-off friends like this.

So yipping and barking madly, he went after the alien. The door closed behind them, there was an ominous silence that lasted few seconds, followed by a loud "KABOOOM!"
