A warrior's cry rang through the air. It was war!
Well, no. It was just Isilmë, hollering her little lungs out over God knew what. He sidled up to the den and what Emily assumed to be Aure, sheltering the pups, and blinked curiously down at his daughter.
If she'd allow, he reached out and took her scruff in his jaws, plucking her from the shelter and out where he could give her more love than just words.
