Parched lips found their way to the water's edge as a cry from the heaven's sent her two-toned gaze skyward, revealing a few buzzards still lingering in the cloud infested void. Their wails were unorchestrated, raspy, and ear-splitting, leaving any in the immediate vicinity with a nasty headache that rattled away inside their skull.

Since ibuprofen and tylenol weren't exactly in her choice of pain relievers, Solaris thought up a few more straightforward approaches. Either she could leave and go off in search of another area to shack up in or, she could kill the annoying feathery bastards and use their bones as toothpicks later on. Option one was by far the easier choice but let's be honest now, option two sounded sooo much more f u n.

the trip back from arrow lake numbs praimfaya and though she knows she should return to roangeda, the mourning worlida does not right away. perhaps, if she is to find any peace in this — by will of the spirits of the commanders or not — ingram is at rest near blodreina. though praimfaya has a bit of a notion of an afterlife, she finds fleeting comfort in the thought that the wanlida's spirit had greeted ingram's upon his arrival. it is a flimsy comfort and like a moth eaten bandage does little to staunch the pain of loss and heartbreak she feels.

frostbound silver gaze lifts skyward as the buzzards circling overhead shriek and cry out. it draws her out of the numb fog that she'd adopted the whole way back here, honing her into alertness. it is in that renewed state of alertness that the worlida realizes that she is not alone in this sector of lake rodney. an unfamiliar scent wafts her way and her gaze falls upon an earthen toned woman.

a low chuff sounds from praimfaya in stilted greeting, not wanting to scare off the birds in case the stranger was hunting.
