All Welcome
@Cupid pls
the night is so dark that the shadows seem to ripple around the trees, a suffocating cloak billowing slightly in the winter breeze. the dark seems to wrap around him, too, filling his senses and leaving him slightly disoriented. then, a shriek — distant and ghostly, yet it nearly scares him out of his skin anyway. fuck! he flinches, hackles spiking, and turns, taking several steps back from what he believes is the direction of the sound. fuckin' fox. where's jean-pierre, anyway? he glances around as if the pale boy might emerge from the shadows at any moment, laughing and teasing him for being scared of the disembodied voice of some lesser beast. but he doesn't. valentine is alone, at least for now.

It was nice to be further away from the mountaintop for a change. Being confined in one place for so long made the wanderer restless. It was only a matter of time before he'd finally take a break from the bustling court. He was certain no one would care, he doubted anyone even knew he was present. If anyone questioned him he'd just say he was out hunting. Plain and simple.

Tonight Cupid was stuck in a dark, ominous forest. It didn't bother him, he enjoyed the fact that he was alone. Or that's what he thought until a fox's screech followed by curses rang through the forest.

Christ, you gotta be kidding me... What did a guy have to do to get a little alone time? Cupid stopped by a tree trunk and slammed his forehead into it to release some anger.
