All Welcome
The days were growing longer and though actual sunshine remained infrequent, warmth still found a way to seep into the tiniest chances it got--if one really looked. Sometimes only a mild day, or a sunny break in the snowfall was all it took but the dark Ostrega was anticipating the next one often lately. Though, it was still too early for spring's signs to make any earnest appearance to help truly satisfy anything.

On his return up the mountainside late in the daylight, when he ran across them each on their own prowls, he independently directed Vega first and then later on Atlas towards the same good lead on a game trail he'd spied earlier on his rounds. Antares he had seen not too long ago when he went lurking off into the shadows of the woods further west of here, so besides Osiris, who was probably training with Hydra if recent trend was anything to go by.. that left Jarilo practically to his own devices almost absolutely, so he wandered a sparse, thinning fringe of forest before it opened once more to snow-covered meadows.

He trotted slow at an easy cruise, nose low, but eyes up, looking far more composed than he felt these days--pointedly keeping a delicate arm's length about gravitational pull of the Kukutux topic, despite curiosity and convenience that let him check in vaguely enough, though not knowing if this was the right thing for him to do at all just to begin. Facing any unknown like that, he was nervous about it, though, because of all its implication.

Desdemona was making rounds, a usual task for the spider. She felt no pressure, nor' anxiety unlike a certain fellow that was just a few steps ahead. Life had been peaceful, despite brief moments of fluxture on seeing a ghost, someone from the past, and the encounter of the heat season. All had but past, and she was at of ease, more composed then ever, but just as cold, perhaps more-so.

Upon coming closer she recognized the dark Ostrega, and briefly dipped a head in greeting to the Gamma per' respect.

Easily enough, he continued on until he caught sight of the dark she-wolf. Jarilo raised his sights and slowed up, nearing accordingly. Hi, he chuffed low to her nod. On his own way, often, he crossed paths with her trails also on the borderlands so knew she was out there among them all the same--which he liked. Plus, she had stuck to them so far, proven capable already per his sister's sharp watch, and that immediately made him even more keen on her company.

Very happy to look towards anything besides his own depths--and the future he was supposed to make of them, he glanced her over and swayed his tail, lifted just above his knees but posed with an easy enough friendliness all about him so far. Anything interesting on your patrols lately? tilting his head, curious in case he had missed out on anything good--though his nose gave him no suspicions so far, he may as well head on in with that since it was a good common ground for guardians of the Spear.

He was a friendlier one, compared to the other Ostrega's. It did not bother her by their cold nature, but showed a trait they seemed to portray. Though Jarilo was more sociable, and it felt more of an ease to talk to him, "there has been fox sightings."

Desdemona was with @Arcturus a while ago, and together did they take down a fox. She was more watchful with each patrol, because if there was one, there tended to be more. She didn't know why they would come up, but hoped it was only the one. Warning him, would be good to watch for any more reddened fiends.

The second she said fox, his nod dipped in a swift nod. Unfortunately, he had his own encounters with the clever beasts, so it was definitely worth noting that this was becoming a little bit more than just a few isolated incidents. Stubborn things lately, he grumbled, low in his throat before he shook his head. Dragomir and I chased some down a bit back, too.. the guardian added, wanting to guess that Hydra and Dirge might have similar stories to get if he ran across them any time soon. He was starting to suspect so.

Where at? Spotting-wise.. Or other information, he'd take whatever, no matter how slim, and use it to guide his next course. I can help spread the word, he suggested, especially among his family and the very sharp teeth of the juveniles--who he did not worry about too terribly against foxes, not with how sharp some of them could be on a bad day, and growing bigger constantly. Fox could be smart though, Jarilo had learned his fair share of this over his couple of years, so he knew better than to underestimate their small stature.

He would patrol on, glad for what company he could get.
