One by one each individual joined in until it was a trio of sorts. Both Hotaru's babbling and Takeshi's baritones didn't stop Reiko from continuing the song without missing a beat, in fact, she kind of liked it. It was reminiscent of her time back home when her own parents would sing them to sleep, and how terrible her father was despite how hard he tried to join in with a harmony. Those days may be long gone but the memories not only remained but lived on in moments like these as she could vividly picture them back in the north, the roles being a generation behind.

Already the little firefly was beginning to join in, not quite able to remember the words or pronounce them, but that was a skill that would come naturally. The little babbling and pride the little princess seemed to have with her efforts was beyond adorable, and the feeling of motherhood was something Reiko even in her dreams didn't seem to quite explain how she felt in moments like these. Pride, joy, an abundance of love that she just wished all three of her children would know very well without a doubt in time if they didn't already know it. She nearly had to hold herself back to not shower little Hotaru in kisses just watching the girl trying to sing in harmony with her mother was difficult.
