Eljay nodded as he took in all the information, mapping it in his head for later use. It sounded pretty dangerous, because apart from the off voice there wasn't anything that showed why he had attacked her. Was that all there was to it? He'd just approached and attacked? The thought was absolutely haunting to the already not that big a hero Eljay. He tried to mull it over in his head, but a few pieces were still missing.

Eljay was just about to ask a few more questions -- where did it happen, and did he just attack after what she had described? -- but before he managed to, Maia said she was... pathetic? Eljay's face instantly crumpled into a frown. He didn't understand at all where this was coming from.

Hey, no, that's not, you're not-- he tried, clearly taken aback. Why do you say that? You couldn't help this, this was just some... Crazy wolf, right? Eljay frowned and he touched his nose to Maia's neck gently in an attempt to console her and show her that he was here.
