Trade
Hunter trade thread for @Aliana ! Trying to keep these short :)

Another day had dawned, the sun like a beacon shining 'ver the lands of Kaistleoki. Though a scholar at heart, the young fae had found purpose in the role of hunter and wished to provide in that way for her pack. She'd noticed a lack of hunting masters around, and thought that the title would suit her someday, perhaps. She'd have a long way to go still, but whether it granted her respect or not, the skill was deemed very useful if she'd ever end up on her own again.

She trailed the border, always seeming to keep her distance from the heart of the pack where she assumed most of the others were. Her nose was close to the ground as her eyes scanned the patches of grass. Would a critter do for today? She was but on her lonesome after all.

With the borders being as busy as they were, Aliana considered to up her patrols a bit. So she could meet these new Wolves that were seemingly popping into existence at their gates. Little does she know, even more action would come in the form of a thieving trespasser later in the day. But for now, it seemed like it might be a typical morning and she just finished up laying fresh scent markers on the borders. Proud of her work, Aliana pulled away from the established borders and stretches out her limbs, ready to slink her way back to The Pillars.

It wasn’t until she spotted a thin figure or white-ish grey and black fur amongst the yellowing foliage. She raised a furry brow before going to meet up with them. Their scent was new to Aliana but was just starting to mingle with the scents of the Kaistleoki.
Must be a Newcomer.

Aliana lets out a friendly soft woofing chuff as she approached through the foliage.   Greetings.  She greets with a kindly wag of her short tail, You must be new here, yeah? Name’s Aliana.
It didn’t take her long to notice the She-wolf seem to be tracking something,  and that peeks Aliana interests,   You ...tracking something?  A hunt is always fun, even if it’s something small and they don’t catch it, the experience is worth a lot.

A silver and sooty ear swivels at the approach of another - the observant fae had already figured this was a stranger, as their step was heavier than Hieronymous and less ballerina-like than her husband. No one else had a reason to approach her this day, which meant it was time to meet whoever had done so regardless!

When she lifted her head to look at whoever had approached, she had to go higher than she'd expected. The woman was about twice her size, intimidating and opposite of the small fae. The fae's eyes glistened as she stared in awe for a moment, then gently shook her head and said; Good morning. She nodded at the other's assumption. How nice to meet you - I'm Lumiya of Fae. And yes, I was hoping to hunt today. She informed matter-of-factly in the tone of a true diplomat. Would you care to join me? She offered, looking up at Aliana with a smile that could conquer the sun herself.

Fae? Utterly foreign to her ears, Aliana has never heard that word before; she could only assume that she was from a pack that had their own religion and such. She wouldn’t pry on the matter, Aliana wasn’t much of a religious type. It wasn’t that she doesn’t believe that there couldn’t be some force far beyond them. She just wasn’t going to revolve her whole life around it. Basically, she respects it but she’s not gonna obsess over it.

Her train of thought was destroyed when Lumiya asked if she wanted to join in the hunt. ❝  Sure.  ❞ Aliana responded with a smile of her own before lowering her snout down to the ground to sniff a few times, ❝ Have you picked up on something yet?  ❞

Her smile grew wider, if you'd believe it, as the other seemed up for a little hunting party. She wagged her tail, delighted to have yet another to learn from. The girl bobbed her head in not quite a shake nor quite a nod. A few critters, some fresh some old. But if that's what you fancy today I suppose we could make it work. She informed.

  Something’s better nothing.

Aliana replied before taking in a deep breath through her nose. As Lumi said, there was a myriad of scents, some fresher than others but none of them smelt like a deer. It made her ponder a bit; would it be worth it? She wants food, not a snack. As a snack won’t keep her stomach from grumbling later on in the day.

...Mmmm…. Let’s follow one of the fresher scents...  She suggested, Hopefully, it’ll lead to something we could store into the caches for later…. After we eat of course.

The other had a point; it was much more useful to get something on their plate instead of nothing at all because they didn't like the pickings. The fae woman nodded at the suggestion, though it was an obvious one if you asked her, and she sniffed around again to pick out a fresher scent.

Not to worry, I'm not a big eater. She commented softly as she was busy. When she'd found the trail of multiple bunnies, fresh as could be, she asked; What about these? Could lead to multiple burrows, I believe.
