the mastiff felt muscles and parts of herself not thought of in a while pleasantly ache. the quiet big dude outperformed himself, and showed an admirable knack for improvisation. 

that was quite enough for her to genuinely like him.

"good 'oy." she murmured appreciatively, while in the midst of chewing off the bits of dried mud not removed by previous activity.

she even chuckled in a fond way when he nuzzled her floppy cheek.

but then he left, and diesel disliked the idea of letting go of this hunky saviour of desperate women just yet. she followed after him, catching up.

"you know, i kinna thought you'd 'e a 'irgin." she idly chatted, aware he wouldn't really reply or contribute. "you 'ig, 'ut you got a h- hh-... young 'ace. coulda tricked 'e ih hadn't sheen it." she slurped in the runaway drool. "you got talent, kid." diesel smirked, lightly pressing her shoulder to his leg.

then, she looked to their surroundings, and saw what the wolfman was aiming for.

"oh? cle'er kid." the mastiff muttered, briefly pausing and then continuing to follow in a shoulders-squared stalk. 

i like to roll for hunt threads, so imma be doing that even if you go with another method, although diesel'll be realistically bad lol
