The cool breeze of autumn’s descent seemed to offer peace to him, and so he must have known the existence of their pack.

He came to the light and she tilted her head in turn, studying him thoughtfully. Built as solid as Reyson, he was a figure that would stick out in a crowd, unlike herself. “Yes,” she offered, a small smile pressing to her lips, albeit lightly forced. The politics between their two packs was at the forefront of her mind. Is this what it was like to live so close to another pack?
