All Welcome
Alaric continued on his way. Large paws tearing up the ground as he moved. Stopping to investigate around the area. He found himself in a wooded area, full of trees tall and vital. He had to smile, reminded him of home. He'd have to come back here in fall and jump in the leaves. He thought then of Amalia and a pang leaped at his chest. She would have found the nearest pile and jumped in. He wondered if she was playing with snow drifts when it wasn't so icy? He hoped so. He hoped nothing dulled his sister's sparkle.

The rain that pelted him was uncomfortable, but nothing more than usual. He stopped for a moment beneath a tree to wait out the worst of the down pour.

The cycle continued. At least if felt like a cycle was beginning.

Each time Andr returned to the Emberwood another wolf seemed to be up to something. And it's this reason that he found himself coming back. From the smallest to the largest of wolves. But this was the reason he kept coming back.

The variety of games in this area must have been what brought other here he thought.

As the rain began to fall he worried his chances of encountering a new face had vanished. Fortunately through the rain he was the form of a large dark presence.

Alaric saw another coming through the rain and he baked a greeting. Shouting to be heard of the deluge of rain.

Get under here for you get even more soaked. Come on now.

His stance was easy and neutral, his eyes of evergreen sparkling and kind as usual. There was an impish smile to the curl of his maw. It was a  good day despite the rain. Besides even the heavens have to cry and scream sometimes.

A silent pause...

"I can tolerate the rain..." but that didn't mean he liked it. Rain wasn't something Andr hated, but being warm and dry was definitely preferred. A sentiment Andr did not share or display before the stranger.

He remained still. Unsure of how he wanted to respond.

Alaric shrugged. Suit yourself.

Then he moved to be closer to the tree and watched the rain pelt the ground and the area. The other male didn't want under here, very well. But they also couldn't speak without screaming because of the rain. So he sat in contemplative silence.

His mind was messy. Thinking... likely too hard about this dark male sitting indifferently beneath his makeshift shelter.
It created an uneasy feeling in his stomach, not one that would truly make him sick, but one that sunk in deep. The fact that he was having this feeling at all added to his upset.

"What brings you this way?" he asked searching for some ulterior motive.

Alaric was used to causing people to think of him. It was either good or bad, there was usually nothing inbetween. He knew that he was hard to handle on his best day, but that didn't stop him from being his most prolific self. Honestly. What was life without a little sparkle.

I live right up there. He pointed with paw and muzzle towards Moonspear. It was right beneath them. He was here because he felt like being here.
