sometimes people write dialogue in RP as if everyone is always abiding by a script- on the other hand, I much prefer dialogue that feels just as natural as everyday life. I know maybe it seems dumb since he's not really saying much, but I think you portray such stronger emotion by having him trip over his words; it's the same way a real person would act in such a situation. ties the scene together and makes it feel 100% natural, love it <3
