I love how well Merrit's thoughts flow in this post. It is a beautifully constructed bit of writing that shines a bright light on his insecurities as well as foreshadowing future development. I am excited to see what becomes of him!

I agree with Magdalyn - Arbiter needs more recognition than she has now. Arbiter is a unique character. I like that her nature is not polarized: her healthy and pragmatic approach to life and self-confidence keeps the evil and the good in perfect balance. It is interesting to read her opinions about other people and you cannot predict, what will be the next thing she decides to do. People are those, who make each pack one of a kind, and I truly appreciate the nature your character has given to Lost Creek Hollow. I will enjoy reading about Arbiter's future adventures.

This was the tastiest description of eating. :) But in all honesty - Ibis is a wonderful little bird. I have enjoyed watching her grow up from a wee ball of white fluff to a young and spirited girl. I like her character and, combined with Sarah's total opposite nature, it creates a very interesting dynamic that is joy to write. May she have a long and adventurous life!
