he's managed to wrangle @Saleem from his brother long enough for the pair to scout luneshale. in the coming days ahead, he wants to make certain this place is safe -- particularly given @Leto's condition.

when he and @Fiamma first returned, little of the green survived the harsh winters here. soto's learned that this place is hardens off faster than home -- ironically, he's come to hate snow.

he pans his gaze to saleem once as they enter the territory, his posture saying what words cannot: be vigilant.

Saleem remained wary of the strange-talking wolf who had violated him. Maybe not in the worst way possible, but certainly in a way. He had not enjoyed the experience, but what was he to do? Sylianos was still healing, and they needed to eat. Whatever task had been assigned to him, Saleem had not completed it, having misunderstood the assignment or completely disregarded it was unknown. But that didn't matter now, it seemed. There was another task that he could understand. They were here to scout things out.

Words, it seemed, were less important when it came to basic needs. This need was to seek and observe. Saleem was fairly proficient at those things.
