Broken Boulder and i'll be your fever

Delight, in his den, sleeping— with him. That's a weird one. He's definitely not going to get used to it any time soon, but it's... actually, it's really nice. There's something grounding about waking to warm fur mingling with his own and Delight's scent thick in the air around him; it feels safe and calm, and he doesn't feel either of those things very often.
When he feels his lover press closer, he leans into the touch too, yawning slightly and tucking himself against Delight. The greeting goes unanswered for a few beats. It's too early to be alive, Is his response, sleepy but lighthearted. He shifts to bury his face in Delight's chest fur, effectively blocking any light from reaching his eyes. I'm staying here until one of us dies or has to pee.
