Greyback wearily eyed his mate as she asked the strange boy questions. He could not understand what she was attempting to accomplish by such inquiries, however, he stood silent beside her—letting her take the lead. It was only when the final question popped that the man finally understood. His orange-toned eyes widening and brows raising as he looked to her and the boy, back to her.

He had come to know of the Nightwalkers from Valette. Something in passing how they were responsible for the disapeparence—the kidnapping of his young pup. But Greyback found it hard to believe this was the boy that did it. He was nearly the same age as his son, nearly the same size in comparison.
