Firefly Glen not giving in

Charles noticed the pointed gaze of a woman who he didn't know at all. Was she checking him out or was there something else? Charles thought of the words of Draper, who'd said that wolves didn't like coyotes. Was it his ears? Charles glanced at Dhalia, who wasn't being sized up, though. So yeah, it was probably one of two things, then: either she was totally into him, or Osiris had said some shit about him and she thought he might mess up because he was the pack's Omega. Deciding that the former was a much better place to be in, Charles smiled toothily at Toad and said, 'Sup!

But before they could really interact much the hunt started, and she focused; and then Charles focused, too. Charles was actually really bad at hunting, because he had never been taught. He'd watched the adults as they hunted bison, but this was something entirely different. And heck, even a bison was something he didn't feel comfortable taking on, ever. The coywolf nervously followed Antares, glad to be surrounded by Lunaria, Dhalia and Bronco. It felt kinda weird to be surrounded by wolves who seemed to be.. friends — Charles' only friend throughout his entire life had been Leta. Felt good, though.

His focus for the hunt was to watch what Antares did and just basically copy his exact moves, be his shadow, be his wing man. Then hopefully he'd look good in front of Antares, and hopefully it wouldn't show that he had no idea what he was doing.
