She refuted him. Atreus didn’t know if he felt better or worse for it, though he held onto her fiercely regardless. Of course she wanted to know why he’d said such a thing but for a moment, he just got lost in her hug.

But she told me some really dark shit about her past and I didn’t… I didn’t do anything, Amalia. She left and I just sat there like a total asshole.
