She wished she would know how to keep it there, tightly wrapped. But she didn't. She looked at the fresh cold snow. "Press your paw down on the cold snow." Perhaps freezing the paste a little in place might help. She then went to rinse her mouth in the freezing water. She returned to him and looked over the two wounds. "I want you to keep that paw off the ground, for at least a day or two so it can scab. No patrolling,' she warned.
