The days marched onward, and the youngest Ostregas grew and changed. She led the children outside the den, further now than they had been on the short trips before. And while she would always guide them back to the ulaq to sleep, they would now spend their days here. It had once been the place of Stingray's pine bed. Now it would become a playground for her children: @Treepie, @Pauk, and @Kaujimaq.

It was bittersweet, knowing that @Maggak and @Acrux were not here to see their younger siblings. Would they ever know them? She did not think they were near, and yet her voice called out for them on the off-chance they had returned to the village.
