her gaze roved to the sleeping bodies of her siblings. the moon hung low yet in the sky, and a terrible urge gripped her.

she began to climb to the highest point of the thoughtstone, dark gaze turning inward where the brine pounded sapphique's shoreline.

now, so much of what puzzled her began to click into place. a place of belonging that until now sobeille had been too removed to understand.
