with laurel by her side, indra's sense of boldness and confidence was buffed. her sister showed no fear as she closed the distance between them and mutely indra followed in her steps though her amber eyes were still flinty as they focused on tambourine. indra did not miss the swift look laurel discreetly shouldered behind her; it was that 'i got this' emotive and she offered a thin smile in return.
she did not recognize the name tambourine, having never heard it and being ultimately ignorant to her father's penchant for promiscuity. her heart was aflutter as she looked at tambourine -- for reasons she had never experienced before she was drawn to noticing things about him - like the musculature of his legs and the broad, expressive sweep of his gaze. she had never looked at another wolf in that way and felt deeply confused.
indra flanked laurel, an ear cast askance as she awaited the ring-leader's direction. "i'm indra." she piped up, though fumbled as she tried to dissect what he meant -- he didn't finish his sentence. did.. did they want to what?
