Firefly Glen not giving in

Antares was feeling a few sorts of ways--busy, being best of all. There was a new pride that he was finding as he ran beside many of them for some of the first times, and together, they learned each other's rhythms just a bit. A few seconds were a bit tense, him questioning everything like he liked to do, but ultimately, he found them all making really good headway towards the goal of turkey meat. It was short-lived in practice, but when it was time, it seemed to come to him suddenly. He didn't want to stall and have their opportunity escape; the second he thought the opening was right, it was on.

And together in a rush, the events culminated. Teeth and feathers, snarling and bird-noise, the pack descending as they startled the birds into their waiting trap. It went well, from his perspective, and he was quite content in the midst of what was quite a turkey slaughter. A few did flee off into the rest of the woods, but they definitely took their share.

Firefly Glen feasted tonight.
