The world had lost all sense, all stability, and it took Revui's concentrated effort not to give in and die while the hills became enlivened in the manner of an angry sea; rolling hills became thundering hills, became chaos, which he narrowly escaped with naught but dust and panic ringing throughout his body. He ran. He lost all sense of self in this animal fear, and he ran while the earth shook and tried to take him. Revui was a warrior more than anything and yet, such skills were useless while the world sundered around him. He could not fight the quakes; the rise of smoke and fire on the horizon to the north curbed any thoughts of escape to that vector; he could not return towards the mountains for they were even more dire, and the path behind him had been carved away. He was listless as he roamed, starving too, hungrier than he had ever been and lonely. There was nobody here in this great expanse of disaster — no wolves, no prey, just the beast that was an awakened leviathan trying to pierce through the earth from below. Hell on earth, he might've thought.
Revui's path was unclear. He would go as far as he could one way, then veer off to safety as things began to worsen in the dirt. He thought of heading towards the caldera and felt an intrinsic need for higher ground. He thought, maybe, to stay where the land was flat and open, but could not make up his mind. And when the shuddering began to ebb away he saw the dark forest standing tall and proud, safe among the ruin, so he sought it out. There were, of course, many layered scents across the perimeter; other wolves had flocked here by the looks of things, which made Revui trust in his instinct and in his knack for survival. He did not pause for an invitation and rather, he bludgeoned his way deeper, crossing the invisible line dileneating the claim from the outside world, and rallied a cry to those present: a deep howl of summons to whoever laid the claim.
He was here to stay, said his call. This was his home now, said his posture; he would combat anyone that said otherwise, eager to find himself shelter so that he might survive the extinction of the world.

They had been dealing with their own problems as quakes shook the land. Prey was scarce, perfect for a new and growing pack as winter neared. The last thing they needed was trouble crawling into their forest.
But of course, that happened anyway. A howl sounded within the territory, someone that did not belong to their ranks. The General stalked her way through the grounds, icy eyes scanning until they fell on the male. Distraught. Bold. A fool.

You best plead your case now unless you choose to turn tail now.

He came upon a wolf swiftly, or rather they set upon him with a defensive air that tugged at something bestial and dormant within himself. He turned to square himself against the oncoming shape in anticipation for a challenge; the shine catching across his raised and jagged scruff, Revui held his own strength as he prowled closer, sizing her up while she spoke.
Her ruddy coat looked almost black in the shade of the grove; she was likely older than him, healthy, physically fit. But Revui had trained all his life for such confrontation, he would not back down. Especially not when the world now faltered and fell to pieces around him. He loosed a low warning in the back of his throat and leered, taking on an almost reptilian edge.
His posture was proud, it was animate; goading impatiently for her attack, for the gargoyle wished to prove he was not going anywhere.

The boy stood still, holding his posture tall. Instead of an answer, a hint of a growl was given, and honestly? It only pissed her off. He had to be stupid, that or he craved death. Why else would someone charge forward into a pack's territory with an aggressive demeanor? Unfortunate that he picked probably the worst pack to mess with.
Moments passed as Alison stood, her tail high showing she would not back down. She gave him a chance, but he had given her his answer. She bared her teeth, her own growl rising as he challenged her.

Wrong place to be a fool, boy.She charged forward, teeth seeking his pelt.

Revui rolled a 15 for his trespass role! I am not sure if that means he dies or recieves a major wound; either way, feel free to determine how damaged he gets. I am accepting of all wounds, superficial or otherwise!
As often as Revui had studied battle, learned of combat and technique, of the history of his family and the great warriors within, he had never been faced with a force quite like this. He'd always been the protector; he defended the limits of Moonspear in his youth with such fervor to win the favor of his parents, then guarded his siblings as they came down from the mountain home, trailed in the surrounding territories with the desire to draw blood from his enemies... And somehow it had led to this moment. An inflated ego, a sense of power and strength that held no further root; he faced his targets with the voracious nature taught to him by @Hydra, trained in to him by @Ayla and @Lyra. He had outgrown fighting beside @Arcturus and yet, facing this shadow, there was a flicker of connection in his mind — he saw his brother standing before him for a heartbeat, drenched in carnelian reds, dark like blood stains. It did not dissuade Revui from what he desired; although he faltered for a breath, seeing that familiarity there.
It did not last. The stranger was facing off, then running to him — faster than he'd anticipated, with much more power in her haunches than he'd given her credit for. She was suddenly there, slipping beside him and reaching with snapping teeth; she did not aim for his face, although Revui ducked away from her all the same as if expecting a blow. He ducked his chin and snarled as he moved — but she was sleek, quick, reaching for the bulk of his torso and managing more than a few points of contact before he could tear himself free of her teeth. His silver coat was stained with fresh red thereafter. He wheeled about with a pivot of his forequarter, trying to block further access to his periphery by swinging himself in a semi-circle and thrust his thick skull in to the line of fire — the opposite of how he had been taught, but desperation soon became clear.
He dove for her with a frenzy previously unseen; the way the brutish boy had charged headlong towards the scent of wolves was nothing compared to the bludgeoning way he thrust himself after her, fierce and strong and full of outward momentum. He was a large creature and he knew how to weild himself, but it was now done with a sense of necessity — if he could not grab her now, if he could not overpower her, he would soon fall victim to the frequent slicing of her teeth. He did not immediately intend to harm her to the point of death, yet the scent of the blood leaking from his side sent him in to a rage, and he could not hold back.

Black Hat was out on one of his walks — he refused to call them patrols — when he heard a foreign howl sound from within the territory. Young, assertive. Challenging. His mouth watered. He headed the boy's way at a trot. When he arrived, the fiery general was already upon him. Pity, he would've much preferred having the sap for himself to toy with. Ah well, he was here, may as well make himself useful and have fun where he could.
He shoved off of the ground from his spot and launched himself at the boy, aiming for one of his hind legs. Black Hat would show no mercy, clenching his jaws hard as they would go if he got hold of it. He craved to hear the sickening crack of bone beneath his teeth and to be rewarded with the sweet metallic taste of a fool's blood. Even better if he cried out in well-deserved pain.

rolled an 8 I'm not sure what the health is on him
Her teeth found her target as the familiar metal tang hit her tongue. She was not sure why he just stood there, but the ripping of his flesh seemed to wake the boy up. Too busy dealing with the intruder, Alison did not even notice Black Hat's entrance until she was leaning away from Revui's fangs. In the moment's glance, she felt a light sear as fangs grazed her pelt. The general had no time to pay attention to the rush of black as the boy was flanked. It shouldn't have come as a surprise, he did call out into the lands, demanding his presence to be known. Well...he was noticed.
Using the grunt as a distraction, Alice rushed again, this time her fangs aimed for the space between his shoulder. She no longer had to be careful as backup was already arriving. At first, she only planned to chase the fool out, but if he seemed so determined to stay here, then stay he would. Surely @Vengenace would be happy with another captive.

Hm, since I rolled a 15 I'm playing it like all of your rolls hit. So your rolls would equate to damage dealt! If that doesn't make sense let me know. Either way, you're ripping him to pieces lmfao.
As if one wasn't enough; the quick snapping of teeth by the red-pelted bitch amounted to scores of wounds, most of which Revui could not counter, but then there came a second body and he was outmatched immediately. As desperately as he moved, as swift and powerful as his strikes could be, there was no way one wolf could contend against a practiced pair. He had called out for this, goaded them to come and meet him in battle, and gotten his wish; but it was something he now regretted deeply. He could not escape as the newcomer dove for him, clutching a limb between teeth and adding pressure. He felt the teeth cut in to his limb and then there came the violent crack of the bone; the spasm, the fall. He didn't feel the pain of it yet—but that was the value of shock and adrenaline, to keep him moving despite the deleterious effects of this fight. Revui almost managed to turn around and sink his teeth in to the stranger, but he misjudged the distance and the mobility of his own bulky figure. He lost his balance and fell, hitting the dirt as the red wolf came diving close to grab at him again. Blood streaked him in such garish amounts that he soon lost his luster, caked by the vibrant reds and dim darks of blood, mud, debris—and as the goliath came crashing down in defeat, a sense of vertigo overwhelmed his dizzied mind; within moments he was out like a light, an easy target for further torment or death, should his opponents choose to commit to their aggression.

The crack reverberated through his skull, and a wave of euphoria followed. The rush would've hit its peak if he got a scream out of him, but you couldn't have everything. Blasted adrenaline... Black Hat released his leg just as he made a lunge for him, deftly dodging the attack. Down the boy tumbled, hitting the ground with a meaty thud. Soon after, he watched the light leave the boy's eyes in a telling fashion he'd seen countless times before.
He's out,He observed simply, turning to Alison. She was clearly marred from the fight, but he didn't even think to ask if she was alright. Instead, he proposed,
I say keep him alive and take him as captive; he can be made useful in a myriad of ways.Especially as a prisoner who couldn't escape, he thought darkly.

can wrap this up here! Warmest welcome to ya Revui ;P
It wouldn't take long for the silver male to fall. It was never a fair fight to start with so it came as no surprise. She gave slight notice to the bites along her shoulder as the man spoke, only giving them a few licks to flatten out the fur that stuck out from the tussle. They didn't appear to be that serious so she would have them looked at later.
The russet woman's cold gaze shifted to Black Hat, her lips drawing back ever so slightly to show the glint of her fangs.

I did not ask for you to voice your opinion, Grunt. The general straighten her posture raising her tail.
The plan was to take him in from the start. He trespassed and had his chance to leave. Since you're so keen on taking him in though, you can carry the dead weight. She'd wait for the man to grab the gargoyle, before stalking into the depths of their territory. She had a report to make.
